Just dab a few drops of 100 per cent pure lavender oil onto the bite in every few hours. It also acts as a good insect repellent. 

 

Milk Paste

Milk is known for its remedial wonders. Make a paste with 1 part powdered milk to 2 parts water and a pinch of salt. Its application can help in soothing the bite of a honey bee.

 

The enzymes present in the milk powder help to neutralise the venom from the insect.

 

Ice Pack

The best source that is available all-time and acts as the perfect ingredient for relief is an ice pack. It is both soothing and helpful. Applying it against the sting of an insect will reduce inflammation, itching, and discomfort.

 

But make sure to avoid putting ice directly on the skin. For that, an easy method is wrapping it in a cloth or towel first and then, applying to the affected area.

 

Vinegar

Vinegar can help a lot in situations of bug bites and infections. Any type of vinegar works in such cases, but apple cider vinegar is said to be the best one. Apply vinegar to an insect bite or sting and it can relieve you from stinging, inflammation or itching.

 

Toothpaste

Toothpaste is one such product that is readily available at any household. Just a dab of toothpaste can help relieve the itching of bites. It has anti-inflammatory properties, and ingredients like baking soda and menthol which are a great aid for relieving.
